Our Busy Little Bees celebrated Holi, the beautiful Hindu festival known as the Festival of Colors, Love, and Spring!
Throughout the day, our students learned about the meaning and traditions of Holi by reading stories and exploring colorful powder during Small Group time. Then the excitement truly began! We gathered in the front of the school where our front yard transformed into a burst of color as students tossed powder into the air, danced, laughed, and celebrated together.
Families were invited to watch the celebration, and we were so thrilled by the amazing turnout of parents who came to share in this joyful moment with us.
At Busy Little Bees, our staff always bring an “all in” spirit to every school-wide celebration, helping create magical experiences that our students will remember.
A special thank you to Paul Rocheny of Rocheny Photography for capturing the beautiful moments from our colorful celebration!
It was a busy week as we participated in Read Across America Week at Busy Little Bees! We had 5 fun themes to celebrate throughout the week, and we were so lucky to have 40 volunteer readers read to our students! Each day, one volunteer read a book of their choosing in each of our classrooms. A BIG thank you to our volunteers-these were parents, family members, community members and even some Busy Little Bees staff who all took time out of their day to read to our students. This week wouldn't have been possible without you!
