BEE ready for Upcoming Events at The Hive in February!

February 4th - Kick off to Black History Month Celebration
February 6th - SOUP-er Bowl Celebration - WEAR YOUR FAVORITE FOOTBALL JERSEY OR ATTIRE
February 12th - Valentine's Day Celebrations. It is also a HALF DAY - Dismissal at 12:15pm, all students must be picked up by 12:30pm. There is NO AFTERCARE on Half Days.
February 13th - NO SCHOOL
February 16th - NO SCHOOL
February 17th - Lunar New Year Celebrations - WEAR RED!
February 18th - Beginning of Ramadan
February 25th - 100th Day of School - Dress like you are 100 years old or with something that has 100 items.

Look Ahead Important Dates:

HALF DAY: March 26th - NO AFTER CARE – Dismissal will begin at 12:15pm, all students need to be picked up by 12:30pm
March 2nd to March 6th: Read Across America Week
Day 1 - Dress Like Your Favorite Book!
Day 2 - Wear Your Favorite Hat or a Silly Hat!
Day 3 – HOLI Celebration –Festival of Color: School-Wide COLOR RUSH DAY – Wear everything in your Classroom’s Color!
- ABOUT HOLI: We are approaching the Hindu spring Festival known as Holi. It is the celebration of colors, love, spring, and community! In celebration of this day, Busy Little Bees will be on our front school lawn and toss powder! Holi will be celebrated at Busy Little Bees on March 4th, towards the end of our day. Parents are welcome to observe on Avenue C beginning at 1:45pm sharp!
Day 4 – Dress Like Your Favorite Superhero!
Day 5 – Wear your Favorite Pajamas!
March 10th to March 17th – Silly McGilly Fun!
March 14th – The HIVE is OPEN!
March 17th: St. Patrick’s Day Celebration & Miss Emily’s Birthday! Wear Green or something Irish!
March 20th: Eid Al-Fitr Celebration
March 28th –The HIVE is OPEN!
March 26th: Parent Teacher Conferences – sign-up sheets for meeting slots will be in next month’s Bee Keeping Items Email.
March 31st: Easter Celebration with Egg Hunt!
April 1st: SAVE THE DATE - Spring Art Gallery from 5pm to 7pm.
