BEE-Keeping Items

1. February 9th: We are hosting a school tour for NEW parents interested in joining Busy Little Bees for PreK 3 next year. The tour will run from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, February 9th. 
2. February 28th: In Partnership the BBOED, we are joining their iniative to raise awareness for Rare Diseases by wearing Jeans for Genes on Friday the 28th with a $1 suggested donation. Busy Little Bees will be matching all Student and Staff Donations! 

 The February Family Fun Challenge is due on February 18th. Our fun prize this month is a Private Yoga Class for 2 at Lotus Bay Yoga Studio in Bayonne. 

1. February 12th we will be celebrating the 100th Day of School: Students are encouraged to express themselves with their dress by creating a shirt or outfit with 100 pieces on it OR dress as “100 years old”.
2. February 13th: we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day! Our classrooms will each be organizing their own party or activity. Students are encouraged to wear Red, Pink or Purple for Love Day!

  Attendance Reminder: Many of you are beginning to plan your Spring Break and summer vacations. Please consider that the District’s Attendance policy remains in effect until the very last day of the school year. This means that if your child is out for 10 consecutive days, they will be dropped from the PreK 3 and PreK 4 enrollment, causing you to have to reregister entirely for PreK 3 and/or PreK 4. There is a chance that if they are dropped from either program, they could be placed on a waitlist to get back into the program. We want to urge you to consider this when making plans as these rules are very strict.

1. March 14th: Holi Celebration – students and staff will be participating in a Festival of Color! 
2. March 17th: St. Patrick’s Day Celebration (and Miss Emily's Birthday)
3. March 31st: Eid Al-Fitr Celebrations
4. March is Career Month: We would love to have some of our parents come in to share a little about their careers. If you are interested, please reach out to Miss Emily at director@busylittlebees.org
