BEE-Keeping Items

We are currently waiting for all of our 2026-2027 Parents to receive their letter from the Bayonne Board of Education Registration Department. For those who have already received confirmation of their placement at Busy Little Bees, here is some information below: 

Please save the date for our New Parent Orientation, which is tentatively scheduled on Thursday, August 27th at 5:30pm for PreK 3 and 6:30pm for PreK 4 at Busy Little Bees (625 Avenue C). As eager as we are to meet your child, this is a Parents night ONLY as we are presenting a lot of information and would like your undivided attention. Your child will be able to tour the school and classroom as well as meet their classmates and teachers on September 1st for our child tour from 12pm-2pm. We ask that you bring any items for school with you to the orientation or child tour to have a hands-free experience on the first day of school, September 2nd.  

ITEMS TO PREPARE

1. Two complete changes of clothing LABELED in a box or a Ziploc bag for your

child. This includes shorts/pants, a shirt/sweatshirt, underpants, and socks.

**If your child is NOT fully potty trained**, please include a large bag of pull-ups (with their name on the bag) and 3 sets of complete clothing.

3. Family Photo

4. Clear photo of just your child (labeled legibly with their name)

5. Child’s Medical Physical from their Pediatrician, including Medical Plan for

6. Asthma or Allergies (IF APPLICABLE)

7. Child’s Immunizations

8. Child’s Dental Records – Due October 31st

The State of NJ requires all children enrolled in school to provide a Physical signed by the pediatrician dated within one year of starting. The form is universal and can be provided by your child's pediatrician. Please send the completed form to TheHive@busylittlebees.org by Monday, August 24th. Please note, your child WILL NOT be allowed to enter school without the physical form. Please reach out if you have any questions on this.
