This was a busy week! We had so much fun with "Muffins for Mom". We read a story about sitting on Mommy's lap. Then we sang songs for Mom, and had Moms go to our tables to eat, We planned with Mom and took her to Worktime. We combined fine motor activities with Geometry, by making circle, triangle and square PlayDoh cookies. We matched them to the big shapes on the cookie trays. In Science, we are watching our caterpillars. They were 8 days old when they went into their cocoons, We talked about how we shouldn't disturb them and that their wings will be fragile when they come out. In Art, we investigated the paint sticks. We used them to make any pictures we wanted.
In Math, we used the counting bears to see how many people were in our room. We counted in a one to one correspondence.
