Take a tour of our school!
Each one of our classrooms is approximately 950 square feet and includes its own en suite bathroom. Our bathroom facilities are able to accommodate children and adults, and each bathroom is stocked with its own utility closet. Each classroom has its own designated storage cubbies that are in or directly outside the room.
Rachel is a passionate Artist, Art Teacher, and longtime friend of Miss Emily's. She dedicated the summers of 2023 and 2024 to designing and hand-painting the murals on every door frame in the school. She is passionate about making sure the warmth of our intended culture is felt from the moment you enter the school. There is no one who is more passionate and dedicated to their work than Rachel. We are grateful that she is a part of the Busy Little Bees family!
Our growing library at Busy Little Bees is quite extensive!
Outdoor time is intended to promote gross motor development in our Busy Little Bees. This is the time of the day where we promote being active and healthy. During outdoor time we also place focus on teaching children how to follow directions, walk in a line, traffic safety, and community awareness.
We have several active outdoor areas: on-site playground, local playground and park, outdoor rink across the street and an indoor gym. These areas switch weekly by classroom to keep things fun and exciting. No matter which outdoor area the children are in for the week, the teachers aim to work on the following skills: jumping, hopping, catching, throwing, kicking, skipping, running, pulling/pushing objects and balancing. We have a variety of outdoor equipment, including but not limited to balls, mits, hula-hoops, jump ropes, hop scotch areas, stepping stones, tricycles, parachutes, basket/buckets and beanbags.
