Our students honored the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. through meaningful, hands-on learning centered around kindness, acceptance, and treating others fairly.
Across our classrooms, children explored what it means to dream, to belong, and to care for one another. Some classes created “I Have a Dream” bubbles, sharing their own hopes for the classroom, the school and the world, while others made coffee filter worlds to represent how we are connected no matter where we live 🌍.
During work time, several students chose to make friendship bracelets, thoughtfully discussing what it means to be a good friend and how our actions can show love and care for others. We also spent time talking about peace: what it looks like, how it feels, and how even small acts of kindness can bring peace to those around us.
Each class participated in a powerful reflection activity by choosing colored hands that they felt best represented them. Together, we displayed all of the hands in our hallway as a reminder of the beautiful diversity within our school community and the shared message that love is all we need ❤️.
We are so proud of our Busy Little Bees for learning that our differences make us special and that kindness and love connect us all. 🐝✨
Two weekend each month, we are proud to host THE HIVE, a free community event created with one simple but powerful intention: to provide a safe, welcoming, and familiar space where families could come together for a mega playdate.
THE HIVE is all about connection. A place where children could meet new friends through play, and parents could connect with other parents, share conversations, and feel supported in community. Laughter fills the space, friendships bloom, and the room truly comes alive with the energy of families gathering together.
We believe that it truly takes a village—and THE HIVE is a beautiful reminder of what happens when our village comes together.
