Black History Month Celebrations

In honor of Black History Month, our classes have been learning about SO many historical figures. Collectively, we continued carrying conversations about diversity and exploring how we are the same and different. We learned about different musicians, authors, artists, people in sports, inventors, peace makers, and poetry, through an abundance of books, activities and hands on active learning. We also introduced various musician's for dancing during Large group. It is important to us that our children hear their names and their stories. We are grateful to have a platform through education to teach our future leaders how impactful they can be in the world. 

Our Valentine's Day celebration at Busy Little Bees was a success! We handed out over 200 love grams and are overwhelmed with the number of people who ordered! We read books, had a party, stamped some shaving cream hearts then turned them into flower bouquets! It was a SWEET day!

We celebrated our 100th day of FUN at Busy Little Bees on February 12th! Our students and staff had the choice of dressing with 100 items on their shirt or a funny saying. Some even went as far as dressing like 100 years old, which was hilarious! We were brave enough to take 100 preschoolers to the gym for a number 100 photo and the risk paid off! Our little bees did amazing, and we love the start of a new tradition.

Some of our students and staff celebrated the start of Super Bowl weekend by wearing their favorite team's gear! Pink Room had an extra special Super Bowl party at snack time and the Admin team crashed!
